Health Insurance
As an ABSN student, you are required to have health insurance. If you don’t have health insurance, you can enroll in our university plan and pay the premium associated with your coverage selection. For eligibility and information, visit Student Health Insurance. If you have health insurance, you must show proof of coverage and waive out of our university plan by the specified deadline to avoid automatic billing.
Financial Aid
ABSN students may qualify for federal, state, or university grants and scholarships or a federal or private loan. Contact our Financial Aid Office for more information.
Nursing Scholarships
If you are living or working in West Suburban Cook County, you may be eligible to apply for a Westlake Nursing Scholarship. The Westlake Nursing Fund provides up to $20,000 in tuition funding each year. Depending on other factors, you could be eligible for a range of undergraduate and graduate scholarships. Ask your enrollment advisor for more information.
