ABSN Program Track Admissions Process
If you’re ready to begin your accelerated nursing education at Loyola University Chicago, congratulations on your choice to change your career and your life with an acclaimed nursing education ranked among the best the U.S. has to offer. There are four key steps in the admissions process.

1. Talk to an Enrollment Advisor
Discuss your academic qualifications and career goals with one of our enrollment advisors. They will take the time to listen to your ambitions and circumstances and can help you determine which ABSN program track format (online or on-campus) best suits your learning needs and preferences. Your enrollment advisor will be your main point of contact throughout the application and admissions process.
2. Create an Academic Plan
Work with your enrollment advisor to create a personalized academic plan focusing on your target start date in either January or August. With their help, you will have a step-by-step guide for everything you need to accomplish to apply confidently.
3. Complete the ABSN Prerequisites
Finish all your prerequisite courses within the specified requirements. These prerequisite courses will ensure you have the firm academic foundation necessary to stay on pace while understanding core concepts in this accelerated nursing curriculum.
Your enrollment advisor can help you determine which prerequisite courses (if any) you need to take, enroll for those courses, and complete them within our specified grade requirements on a timeline that aligns with your target start date.
